We will read the population from the bar graph for different years.

We need to find the population in 2001. We also need to find the population in 1951. Look at the bar for 2001. The population in 2001 was 102 crores. Look at the bar for 1951. The population in 1951 was 36 crores. To find the increase, we subtract the smaller number from the larger number.

Let us find the population increase for each 10-year period.
